We’re under a week away and It’s important to inform you that even though registration for this tournament is coming to a close this Wednesday night, there are a few events that are in jeopardy of being cancelled.  Ironically, I’ve heard from many of you that plan on playing but haven’t registered.  

It’s important to know that like many of you, others wait to see who is registered before they register themselves especially those out of town.  If everyone adopts this attitude, it creates an unrealistic look at interest and in turn, nobody signs up.  If you’re planning to play, I would register immediately.

We'll send an email this Thursday communicating any events that may be cancelled.

MAIN EVENT Giant Round Robin:  We're accepting up to 72 players but will create smaller groups if necessary.  At this point, we’re looking at groups of 8-10 but it could max out to groups of 12.

Determining Your Main Event Start Time:  We'll be creating groups this Thursday which will determine what time you need to be at Bishop Kearney to begin.  For your planning purposes today, my advice is to use the following chart to help you understand when you should be there.  Take a look to see where you fall based on your Rating for the Main Event registration list and proceed as you see below.

Bottom Half - Show up for a 9am start time
Top Half - Show up for a possible 10:30am start time
Top 10 - Show up for a 12 noon start time
Unrated - We'll be estimating your rating this week and place you accordingly.  You should plan on a 9am start time.

We’ll lock in groups and times on Thursday but the above chart is a safe bet for you today.
