 Attached below are  photos and articles sent to me by Konnie (Kostas) Maciulis, a high quality Lithuanian player who dominated local doubles play in the late 50s and early 60s, as well as winning some singles titles. Konnie led a contingent of Lithuanian men and women who frequented our local tournaments then, including a men's champion, Vytas Grybauskus, and women's champion, Laima (Jonusas) Vosylius.

This is one of two sets of three articles. In them, I saw four women's champions listed: Laima Jonusas, Ann Randke, Gretchen Dengler, and Bernice Warner. Former men's champs included a number of legends: Don Coluzzi, Ted Mosher, Vytas Grybauskus, Bill Hunt, and Mike Ezzo. I should also mention that Walt Stephens made a rare newspaper appearance for being in the finals of the handicap event. He deserves to be recognized since he was instrumental in forming the GVTTC, and leading it during its formative years.
Now in his nineties, Konnie is contributing pictures, articles, and personal stories about the Lithuanians who played here. It all happened some sixty years ago, but they made quite an impact in a short period of time.
