[gvttc general] GVTTC Classic League Week 1 Tryout Reults

Hello everyone,

 

Last Tuesday we completed our first week of tryouts and we had some great
competition.  We are one week down and one to go.  Congratulations to the
following people have advanced to week 2.

Bill Teng

Chuck Bainbridge

Jacob Shmois

Kannan Kandasamy

Manny Dy

Scott Swertfeger

Ta-Min Chang

Travis Kokx

Vadim Feygin

 

Next Tuesday they will advance into another tournament joining those that
were on bye from week 1.

Congrats to you all.  What is next?  As of right now we have 10 to 11 spots
available.  I am waiting confirmation from one person that would determine
if we have 10 or 11.  

 

Next Tuesday I plan on having 4 groups of 4 (one of them will have 5) to
compete in another round robin format.  The top 2 from each group are IN the
league.  That would satisfy 8 of the spots.  I will then take the 3rd place
from each group and have them compete in another mini round robin to
determine the final 2 to 3 spots available.

 

I will send another communication over the weekend updating everyone on the
time and format.  If you have any questions or comments please email me.
