[gvttc general] Clarification - Pauli Orr Tournament This Weekend

Hi All,

We would like to share the two important notes below, which might answer questions raised by some of you recently.

Please be aware that although the main event of the Pauli Orr tournament is the Two Man Team play, you can still compete as a single player in the remaining event categories. You do not need to register for the two man team event, in order to play in other categories.

 Although an USATT rating is required to win an event, you can still play in ALL EVENTS besides handicap and doubles without a USATT rating. This includes the ability to play in the Main Event 2 Man Teams as long as you can find a partner.  You will be accepted as an "unrated" player and will get your rating after the tournament.

It does not matter whether you are a beginner or advanced level player. We strongly encourage you to participate to the Pauli Orr tournament, to move your game to the next level.
