GVTTC,

As we continue to organize the Friday night FLEX league (hoping to launch next week), tomorrow night will be entirely used for OPEN PLAY. Normal Open Play membership rules apply. I attach my original email for your reference.

Sincerely,
Andre Maronian
President GVTTC

> I’m happy to announce that GVTTC is expanding our play times this season to include Friday nights with an exciting opportunity to get more play time in. Check out the really cool Informational flyer below we put together to make it easier to attract new players. Feel free to forward that image to anyone you want. Let’s grow the sport we all love.

> Friday Night FLEX League - 7pm
> Starting in October, we now include a new FLEX (flexible) League that accommodates those that want competition level play and can’t make full commitments to any of our other long season commitments. It also serves as a way to introduce NEW players to the club/sport without having to spend hundreds to sign up on a night that might work with a different audience such as M-F work or school commitments. The league will follow a version similar to the OPEN League we ran this summer. We used that window to test the concept and variations on running it to see what’s best. There is benefit for participating each week but you don’t need a sub if you can’t make it as you just signup and show up when you can. We’re working out the final pricing ($7 or less per week) details and the results will knock up against Rating Central and we will have group based prize outs (monies paid to winners). Stay tuned for the details!

> GVTTC Coaching
> As we identify approved GVTTC coaches, we may be utilizing a few of these tables per week to run both personalized sessions and/or GVTTC group sessions on the main floor. This provides more opportunities for improvement on a day that might be more convenient. For now, stay in contact with our club head coach AJ Carney for availability.
>
> Open Play
> Open play will be third in line and available when and if the above two are not using a table. Your normal Open membership dues include this portion of play.
>
> At the end of the day this is an exciting time for our sport in Rochester but note it will be a trial basis for this year. Anything takes time to build momentum but we’ll assess it’s success at the end of the season and determine it’s longevity.
