Last Tuesday we completed our first week of tryouts and we had some great competition.  We are one week down and one to go.  Congratulations to the following people have advanced to week 2.

Congrats to you all.  What is next?  I have 8 spots available for this years classic league.  Next Tuesday I plan on having 4 groups of 4 to compete in another round robin format.  The top 2 from each group are IN the league.  Like last week, here is the format for next Tuesday.

Format:
-          I am going to have 4 groups of 4.
-          Each group will play in a round robin format.  
-          Each match will be best of 5 games.
-          I will be taking the top 2 players from each group.
-          Each group will have 2 tables assigned.

Play:
-          Play will begin SHARP at 6:30 PM.  Please come early to practice and warm up.
-          2 minute warmup before each match to ensure we have continues play.
-          If you come to practice and you see a table is in use by others that are not trying out, you have priority to take that table as this is your night to tryout.

Rest of Club:
If you come to practice on Tuesday, please allow these folks to either hit with you, or give up your table if you see them waiting for a table.  I will be using all 8 tables for this tournament.  Play should end early considering each player will play 3 matches each and have 2 tables assigned.
