GVTTC,
A couple noteworthy points.
1) May 29 Unsanctioned Tournament - We have many spots open and plan on creating an upper and lower division coming off table round robin play. Signup and learn more at https://www.gvttc.com/tournaments
2) Open Play: Starting in May, we’re moving toward a CASHLESS system to make accounting much easier for the club. All CURRENT leagues include open play so in that case you’re covered on open play nights. Outside of that, you’ll need to either pay each day ($5) or purchase a monthly open play membership ($40) at https://www.gvttc.com/openplay
Once purchased, simply show your emailed receipt to a club officer OR Peter Yu (thanks for helping!) when you arrive. We will ask those to pull their phone out and purchase from the website prior to playing if you didn’t do it beforehand. The health questionnaire that RSG expected of us prior to arrival proves we all have the ability to do this as in advance of showing up. Thanks for your understanding on this.
3) Coaching: We offer three coaching opportunities that you can learn more about at https://www.gvttc.com/coaching
- 1on1: In this case, you can lock in a timed appointment based on Koen’s availability and pay for it in advance. He gets notified automatically and you’ll be a go. Some of these trainings will be done on the main floor while others will be in the front room. Appointments have already been booking so we suggest you take a look at our site for his available openings. Keep in mind Koen requires a 48 hour advance notice in accepting an appointment. I believe the website already takes this into account and shouldn’t let you lock in an appointment within 48 hours.
- Group Adult Classes: All levels will be split accordingly in the same class so just book as you need and you’ll receive appropriate training. There are multiple payment options for this.
- Group Kids U10 Classes: Tends to be more a beginner class but they’ll be grouped according to level as well.
4) GVTTC Banquet and Annual Meeting: This will be a ZOOM meeting and we’re hoping to do this on a Friday night in late May (possibly May 21) as long as we can get organized. In place of doing trophies, we’re highly considering providing a pack of balls to all winners this time. Due to COVID, we never had one last year so we’re looking at offering the same for winners for last year too. Part of our determining factor is our ability to put together the necessary stats for both years. We’re having trouble tracking down last year Monday, Wednesday and Classic League final results. If anyone has a record of the final results for any of these leagues (last year), I’d appreciate if you can forward it. Stay tuned as it is possible that we move this meeting to June.
That should do it ….
Sincerely,
Andre Maronian
