[gvttc general] April 3rd Tourney Doubles Update/CHANGE

The doubles event went out as a typo as it was supposed to be an U2800 Rating Central combined team event but accidentally was U3800.  I didn’t catch it and we now have entries above 2800 combined.
So …
I’ve decided to change U3800 event to a different format.  We’ll rank all teams from top to bottom and then group them in an A, B, C, and D (hopefully groups of at least 4 but up to 5 max).  Each group will compete in a round robin amongst themselves to determine a winner of the group.  The prize monies for this event will CHANGE to 
1st Place Group A - $15
1st Place Group B - $15
1st Place Group C - $15
1st Place Group D - $15

Basically, winner of each group gets their registration covered assuming you’re an active GVTTC member.  This adjustment also ensures competitive play around the same level for all matches.

The link above is updated regularly and showcases as close to real time registrations we can get.

To register … reply with what events you want to enter and use PayPal to pay GVTTC ( geneseevallyttc at gmail.com <mailto:geneseevallyttc at gmail.com> ).  Only paid registrations locks in your spot.
