[gvttc general] Friday Open Play

GVTTC Members,

Just a friendly reminder that we are now renting the front court at RSG on
Friday nights from 5pm - 10pm. Everyone that has purchased a yearly or
monthly membership may come in to play, or it is $10 for those without a
membership.

As the weather cools off, we are looking for ways to encourage attendance
on Friday nights. Paul Nielsen mentioned the idea of having Classic League
#1 men attend on a rotational basis with sign-up sheets for other members
of the club to be able to book a match against a strong opponent.
Alternatively, mini-tournaments with a small cash pay-in and winner take
all format could also be a fun way to start the weekend and get warmed up
for Saturday Open Play. Just a few ideas to encourage attendance, but most
important is to come, play, and have fun!
