Many want to participate and have asked what our tournament policy is pertaining to USATT rating, seeding, and prize eligibility. They are as follows:</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><ul class=""><li class="">The team may include unrated players. Our tournament committee will be the final decision on determining the players estimated rating for this tournament but we will need to know your good faith assessment if we haven’t seen you before. If you can provide an example of how you do against players at a similar USATT level, that may be of assistance.</li><li class="">Since it’s an estimate, there is no way to ensure team accuracy so we will not allow that team to win their group prize (trophy or cash). This would be unfair to players with official ratings and ensuring the within 300 point delta requirement between teammates. </li><li class="">The unrated player will need to become a USATT member by at the least paying for a USATT Tournament Pass at this tournament.</li><li class="">All match results will count toward ratings for both the rated and unrated player. The ratings, adjustments, and more are all determined by USATT after we submit results.</li><li class="">Teams that contain at least 1 unrated player are considered to be an <b class="">official team if registered and paid</b> and will not be bumped out for a team that has 2 USATT rated players that register later. </li></ul><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Based on this, we anticipate many more registrations coming in over the next few days, and in turn, will cause the event to fill up fast.
