It’s no coincidence that there are clubs much newer than ours (in some cases only a few years old), that are breeding top players in much less time and growing faster. GVTTC is ready for this growth and we’ve made the necessary steps to become one of the strongest clubs in our region. Our coaching staff is as follows.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><b class="">GVTTC Head Coach:</b> Koen Kron - Lead coach that will drive all coaching initiatives</div><div class=""><span style="caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" class=""><b class="">Coaching Consultant:</b> </span>AJ Carney - Advisor to the coaching staff with occasional visits to run special camps and more. From Rochester, currently rated 2400, and has been USATT certified top coach for many years.</div><div class=""><span style="caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" class=""><b class="">GVTTC Part-time Coach:</b> </span>COMING SOON Dustin Zemaitis - requires Safe Sport Certification and working on his availability</div><div class=""><b class="">Training Partners: </b>Andre Maronian, Ahmet Okutan, Marc Maronian …. will be used in group sessions from time to time to help students with their drills while coaches rotate tables and advise.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Prior to launch, it was necessary to identify someone that could dedicate full-time <i class="">type</i> availability as a head coach so we’re elated that Koen has agreed to this. His passion for the sport and desire to grow the club is perfect for our needs. We appreciate his commitment to this plan. It’s also important that the long term coaching roadmap is consistent with USATT coaching standards. AJ Carney knows this inside and out and will help advise Koen and the club on best practices.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><font size="4" class=""><u class="">Coaching Services</u></font></div><div class="">We have two options available at this time and details on prices are on our website.</div><blockquote style="margin: 0 0 0 40px; border: none; padding: 0px;" class=""><div class="">A) 1on1 lessons with a coach (Koen only at this time) - This training type is available now and around the availability of club hours and Koen’ schedule. You can book Koen immediately through our website by clicking the <i class="">“1on1 with Koen”</i> button. You can book specific appointments and lock in your spot. These lessons will take place on both the front room and main floor when applicable.</div><div class="">B) Group Sessions: Details on times available on website - <b class="">STARTING IN MAY</b></div><div class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>- Group Lessons - For anyone that knows the basics all the way up to top players. People will be grouped accordingly. We’re running these twice a week: Wednesdays and Saturdays for 2 hour slots.</div><div class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>- U10 Lessons - Kids under the age of 10 years old for 1 hour focused around fun, basics, and a desire to return for more. We’re running this session on Saturdays only.</div><div class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>- NOTE</div><div class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>- We plan on adding more sessions in the future by looking at adding Friday hours when it makes sense.</div><div class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>- We will be using main floor tables (up to 4) for these sessions based on signup</div><div class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>- You can lock in your spots for all sessions now</div></blockquote><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">To make managing the club easier, you’re going to notice a new theme where we’ll want you to use the website for all signups. Our coaches are going to ask you to use the website and NOT book appointments verbally to best help them manage their appointments. Our new system gives them a robust APP where they can easily manage this effort. Please don’t give them a hard time when they tell you to use the site …. I’m warning you in advance. It’s also important to expect this same approach with just about everything else.
