Ms. Higashi is a founder of Tomon Partners, LLC.  Prior to Tomon
Partners, she was a co-founder and CEO of Gilo Ventures between 2000 and
2002.

Ms. Higashi spent 15 years in investment banking from 1985 to 2000.  She
started her investment banking career at Lehman Brothers in 1985.  She
was one of the founding members of Wasserstein Perella in 1988, and led
the firm$B!G(Bs technology M&A business until 1994.  Ms. Higashi was
recruited to build the technology investment banking M&A practice of
Merrill Lynch in 1994, and remained as managing director responsible for
the M&A business in Silicon Valley until 2000.  During her tenure at
Merrill Lynch, Ms. Higashi advised on transactions valued at over $17
billion.  Her practice was global, with clients including Cisco Systems,
DSP Communications, H&R Block, Hyundai Electronics, IBM, KLA Tencor, LSI
Logic, Maxtor, SHL Systemhouse, USCS, and Xerox.

Prior to her investment banking career, Ms. Higashi spent two years at
McKinsey & Co. in Tokyo, Japan.

Ms. Higashi grew up in Japan, and received MBA from Harvard University.
She is on the board of directors of Stentor Inc.  She lives in Silicon
Valley with her husband and two daughters.
