[Learn-earn-staffers] Summer Jobs' DEADLINE looms large and come to the Obama pool for water polo

Hi,

The City of Pittsburgh Summer Jobs program for eligible kids 14 to 21,
called Learn & Earn, has a deadline to apply by May 20. Get the
applications done and help others who need to finish their applications. Go

Summer is a great time to swim -- and our pools offer fantastic job
experiences too. Help others learn to swim, learn yourself, or even become
a LIFEGUARD. Sadly, too many in Pittsburgh can't swim, yet.

All are invited to come to the PPS Obama swim pool for some swim coaching.
Check it out and see if you'd like to work with us this summer too.

+ +  Grab a swim suit and towel and come to an indoor PPS pool at Obama.

Thursday, tonight, May 18, from 6 to 6:30 for a lesson, then
water polo from 6:30 to 8:30 pm with high school students and adults

Tuesday, May 23, from 6 to 6:30 for a lesson, then
Underwater Hockey from 6:30 to 8:30 pm with high school students and adults

Thursday, May 25, from 6 to 6:30 pm for lesson, then
water polo from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

PPS Obama Academy is at the corner of Highland Ave and East Liberty Blvd.
The pool is past the gym.

Up to 20 Learn & Earn workers are being recruited to work with us in our
Swim & Water Polo efforts this summer. If you enjoy kids and want to get in
better shape and improve a life-long skill (swimming) -- then you're most
welcome to attend and get a placement with this activity.
