About Chapters	English (USA)
The ncsba-chapters-list is an automated e-mail listserv of the North Carolina State Beekeepers Association, Inc. (NCSBA), with web site at www.ncbeekeepers.org. The purpose of the list is for enhancement of communication from the NCSBA leadership to the Local Chapter Presidents or their representatives. This list will be used to send announcements to, and solicit responses and opinions from, the list members in a timely and efficient manner, on subjects relating to beekeeping activities important to our state association, its local chapters, and members. We expect each chapter list representative to disseminate essential information received via the Chapters-List to your chapter members in a timely and appropriate manner, whether by e-mail, newsletter, announcement at your monthly meeting, by phone, or on your local web site. Responses (i. e. “replies”) are by default routed to the sender only. Only certain email addresses will have rights to post messages to the entire group (primarily chapterupdates@ncbeekeepers.org and president@ncbeekeepers.org). Direct questions about the list to the List Manager, or questions about the NCSBA to the President. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Chapters Archives. (The current archive is only available to the list members.)
Using Chapters
To post a message to all the list members, send email to chapters@ncbeekeepers.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Chapters
Subscribe to Chapters by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
