IP Infusion develops, markets, and sells IP routing and switching
software for the communications, enterprise server, and appliance
markets.
We are looking for a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) based in Japan.
The FAE will provide technical support to our customers and distribution
channels. Our customers are large OEM, enterprise, and telecommunication
carriers.
Responsibilities:
This person will be responsible for providing technical support.
Activities will include product presentations, participation in network
design and deployment reviews with customers and responding to technical
questions from customers. Assist customers in installation and
configuration of IPI software. Provide customer training. Maintain
Customer Satisfaction Focus. Travel required.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of work experience.
Experience with and technical knowledge of networking protocols.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience working with senior business and technical executive level
(especially the CTO/CIO) individuals as well as software developers and
network administrators is required.
Cisco CCIE certified
Fluent in English and Japanese (reading, writing, speaking).
Desire to work in a goal-oriented sales environment.
Ability to work in a team environment from a remote location.
Education: BSCS or BSEE or equivalent experience desired.
Check Point certification preferred.
Reseller liaison experience preferred.
