cooperative efforts among public and private sectors, academia and the
government. These factors mean that the climate for collaborations and
partnerships in Japan is particularly favorable.

Join us as G. Steven Burrill, CEO of Burrill & Company, discusses the
Japanese biotech industry and the impact on foreign firms seeking

G. Steven Burrill has been involved in the growth and prosperity of the
biotechnology industry for over 35 years. In 2002, Mr. Burrill was
recognized as the biotech investment visionary by the prestigious
Scientific American magazine. Mr. Burrill is a founder of the Foundation
for the National Medals of Science and Technology and currently serves
on the Board of Directors.
